I really liked his comment about the PS3 controller. The 360 controller was a revision of the original ecksbawks controller (duh), which was a rip off of the ps2 and Dreamcast controllers combined. Personally both of the controllers are just about the same. Sure the triggers and grips are different. But look at both the PS3 and 360 controllers at a distance. They're so similar that the only thing that can skew a person's view of them is the person's console choice. Me, I like em both!

LMAO @ how he says that the controller innovates and thats how MS has stayed in the curve. How can you say it is innovative when you see CLEARLY that they use the same A,B,X, and Y buttons like the SUPER NINTENDO?

Yeah..... very innovative, at least the Playstation thought up of putting shapes to identify their buttons (excluding the L and R buttons from the PS one).

Seriously though, that guy is a douche but it doesn't mean he speaks for the site. Wasn't that his personal blog on the site?  

He basically said that GT gives 360 games higher review scores because of the controller, which doesn't infuriate me in the least. I think it's hilarious that anyone in his position would publish such a statement. If it were April, I'd say this was an April Fool's joke without a doubt, but since it's not, I just shrug and add it to the pile of ridiculous things I've heard this year. But it is a joke, right? Because the mention of a "story-driven exclusive franchise" can only be referring to MGS4. It must be, because you couldn't call Gears of War an epic saga. My final verdict on the article is that it's a load of sarcasm. None of you should take it seriously.

By the way, just got into the Home beta and it's incredible.

I really agree with him about the ps3 controller.Its time to move away from that design,or at least improve on it.For me i find that the trigger and analog placements feel awkward,especially with first person shooters.I think they keep that controller design because they feel like people want something familiar.Maybe most people prefer the ps3 controller i honestly dont know but i find it to be a little bothersome.Not saying that playing with the ps3 controller is a waist because id 10 times rather use it than a wiimote.I know this is a ps3 room but i have to be honest and admit that i prefer the 360 controller.Call me a fanboy if u want but its really my honest opinion.I still like my ps3,i just wish that they had did a few things different with this console.loudharley

The only improvement dualshock 3 might "need" is switch the left analog stick position for the D-Pad so that your thumb is on the analog stick while your finger is in it's resting position, the controller is small, is fully ergonomic and reponsive, doesnt need that much of improvement, also, IT HAS SIXAXIS, 360 controllers doesnt offer that much improvement from the original xbox. PS3 controller as it is, IS PERFECT for fighting games, I'M TELLING YOU!!! you'll see on tuesday when SF II HD is released.

Also, from the PS2 design, there's an improvement on triggers, the plastic that surrounded the triggers is gone so that you can grapple the controller more comfortably

you don't know nothing about Design. The 360 controller is nothing else then redesign with wireless function. Dualshock stays to the benchmark of ergonomy

Oh, between GranTurismo is not just a franchise, Sony is offering, it's already a culture, and more is still to come for PS3. Oh and about the story driven exclusive franchises... ever played MGS? NO? Never heard about the GoW franchise? Uncharted, any?

And I have to say, the 360 controller is damn comfortable.

But it's not so much so that it should gain Xbox verions/exclusives higher scores than the PS3.

For that to even be remotely valid, the 360 controller would need to simulate wiping your ass with silk.
