I'm in the market for a PS3 but don't know what to do. I really don't want to wait almost 2 months to get one (in May if there's that price drop), and if I do wait and the price drop doesn't happen I'll be annoyed as hell.

GDC is all next week ....... but these rumors are not for the GDC event. We won't know anything until it all unfolds (which could take a long time).

So then, I guess I should just go ahead and buy a PS3 instead of waiting only God knows how long for the price drop?Considering that there's supposed to be a Target bundle with 2 greatest hits games coming at the end of March and is to be priced at $399 ...... I'd wait just a little bit to see if they drop price by $50 first.

i hate rumors so much lol, but damn they making legend of dragoon for ps3 but releases in japan this year for them, if true they one lucky mofos and ill import that for sure, cuz i loved legend of dragoon
Meh. Some cool stuff but nothing that I'm too interested in. I want to see a FW update that enable PS2 b/c on PS3 models that can't play PS2 games, and a bunch of announcements that probably won't come anytime soon... like another FFX spin-off.
