Gears of war PS3?

I didn't know what to title this thread but what happened to that game that i believe was confirmed by Cliffy B that would be exclusive to the PS3 and took place in the Gears universe? Personally i don't even like Gears that much but it crossed my mind reading another thread.bigblunt537

Read and then reply. Cliffy B CONFIRMED a few months ago a game for the Ps3 in the Gears universe yet i havent searched for a link just there hasnt been any news on it at all.

I've been looking i read it in a thread about a year ago around the time i bought my Ps3 and he said it in an interview or something.

I cant seem to find anything maybe he didn't confirm anything and it was just him saying that there's a possibility im not at all sure but i believe i did read that.

Yeah i remenber reading something about that a while ago... and that MS only had 2 games deal with epic. Never heard anything else tho.

Im not talking about Gears at all just a different game i beleived he announced. Oh wells i cant seem to find a link but i do know i remember watching a ton of people in system wars and stuff yelling at each other about it. I can careless i thought Gears was mediocre but i was just curious thats all.

Cliffy B never confirmed a game set in the gears universe for PS3, there was some sort of april fools joke but i forget what it was.

MS have an exclusive deal for 3 gears of war games, and since the first game did so well as an exclusive game expect Gears to stay an exclusive franchise, its also published By MS.

There was talk on the 1up podcast awhile ago that it could be possible that epic could make a game set in the gears universe using a different name and different characters, but this was just speculation about what could be possible but nothing has ever been confirmed.

Gears is now a first party franchise for 360 and i wouldnt hold your hopes up on getting any sort of gears game on ps3, the first game made allot of money for epic, they would have got even more money for the trilogy contract so i doubt epic would break there money making deal with MS to chance making a gears ps3 game, also expect MS to pay big bucks to keep gears exclusive always.

IMO ps3 only owners should really forget about a gears game for ps3, Theres other things for PS3, although if i was a ps3 only owner i definitly would be feeling the same way, gears is easily still one of the best next gen games out so far IMO and i feel for those PS3 only owners who didnt get to play it either on pc or 360, its one amazing game.

But PS3 has MGS thats enough to make up for gears.

Yeah I remember reading something like that a few months ago over at PSU....it wasn't Geow but something connected to the Gears universe.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made something related, but I wouldn't count on seeing any of the Gears of War games coming to the PS3. That's like Nintendo putting Mario on the playstation or xbox.

On the other hand, seeing how there's "demand" for it, it'd be easy money if they released one on the PS3. Economically-viable..

I remember that too. Gears 3 isnt signed to be exclusive to the xbox. so there is a good chance that gears 3 will be on the Ps3. but I dont know how easily Microsoft is going to let that slide.
