Becuase it was free, and then when I tried to trade it in the claimed I stole it becuase it was still wrapped, so I thumped the guy. In hindsight that probably didn't help my cause
yer I dont get how people can hate the game, it's just the camera angle thats bad, the graphics, story, cut scenes are nice and the characters are pretty cool to use as well specially the main guy with the 2 swords, it just looks stunning fighting with him, and changing weapons on the fly is damn kool

Well, it does have a lot of bugs and the camera is terrible, but the combat is deep (deeper than I realized from the demo) and the graphics are superb. I picked it up for $30 last weekend (along with a $10 used copy of the original.) I loved the original... wonderful game I highly recommend. The sequel isn't nearly as good from a gameplay perspective, butit's still decent and yes, I think it's worth $30 new. Blockbuster/Gamerush used to buy back all Ps3 games for $35, so I just may turn a bit of profit when I sell it back for another game lol.
Play one of the PS2 Onimusha game instead. They're honestly better.bohemian_bob
So true. Genji 2 should be recalled and anyone who wasted their money buying it should be given a coupon for 5 free PS3 games of your choosing. One more thing, if by any chance you happen to pick up Genji 2 again after the recall, you will be shot, castrated, poisoned, drowned, burned at stake and and your remains will be mixed with monkey poo.

DId you know Onimusha and Genji 2 were created by the same guy? I didn't... read it on 1up's genji review. Makes sense.
I think Genji 1 is every bit as good as any Onimusha game, but Genji 2 is not. But it's still gorgeous, and a must play for fans of the 1st one... especially at half price.
