get psp slim now or wait for 3000 model?

there is somewhat confirmed news for a psp 3000 model.

This being said should I wait for it or buy 2000 now? I cant wait for patapon 2 MC:LA remix, Resistance on the psp but should I just wait?

Also, is the new psp a completely different psp or just an upgraded model like the fat to slim?

I would go ahead and just buy a PSP now, because even if this news was true (and I dont think it is), the earliest it would come out in 2009 or 10.LZ71

I would buy it now, because I dont think these rumors are true. And If they were it would come out maybe in 2010 or 2011.

would it be a good idea to buy a psp if you dont any other console?

I really want something portable that i can use when im out or in the bathroom but I have the money for a console but im thinking it would be a hassle. As for the DS that is a definite no. I really dont like their lineup and after nintendos show at E3 it failed to impress.

look this is a psp board not one to compare psp to ds, so either erase that or take to system wars, that wasnt his question,

whether the ds e3 sucked or not, i really dont care, get a psp 2000 you wont miss much and theres no confirmation on 3000 model , as far as ds is concerned dont listen to a word red mertaninja said its also a good handheld , actually the best selling one, and with gta coming who would be disappointed

I totally recommend you to buy that 2000 first, because you will miss a LOT of very very good games while waiting for the new model, and by the way, when the new model would come out, i would not buy it. Instead ill wait till some good games come on it and then ill see if i want it.
