Gettin' the PS3 Eye today...

I'm looking for some feedback from people here who own, or have triedthe device.
Today's my b-day, and my brother let it slip that that's what he got me. So I'll be recieving it tonight.

From what I've seen there's some stuff in the PSN Store (maybe $15-$20) worth of stuff to play with.
Other than what's in the Store for DL, is there any other games I can buy?

I use it for Burnout - I also used it for Tiger 08 Game face - it takes FOREVER to generate and it made me african american ... and I'm caucasion - somake sure you are in a well lighted area if youw ant an accurate portrayal -

EYEPET is coming out and looks awesome - that's more for my wife though

I haven't seen anything on PSN worth buying for it though ... yet

I played Eye of Judgment for months, quality of detail detection is awesome, played Operation creature feature a bit, but it becomes very hard fast, may get Trials of Topoq one day

Isn't there an option in Singstar where you use the cam to sing with a PSN friend?

Same. I bought mine just over a year ago and have used it about 3 times. Gonna keep it for when the motion controller comes out, though.

id wait, you will proberly be able to get one at the same price but get that eyepet game free with it when it comes out

I got it for my birthday a few months ago. I used it for Tiger 08 and yeah it made me African American (Canadian)and I am a caucasion as well. :)

Other than that I have downloaded a few 2$ apps that are silly but okay to have on in the background when people are over. I've also used it for Buzz Quiz TV. It takes pictures of your group throughout the game. Nothing too exciting but a nice bonus. Some of the pictures can be pretty funny too.

The other thing I find that I use it for is the microphone for online games. No need for a headset because the eye works quite well (IMHO) and I like not having something shoved in my ear while playing rock band for instance. i'd say for that alone it has been worth it for me.

Down the road it should be useful for the motion controllers as well.

I do believe you might well need one to use with the new motion sensor controller when it comes out too.

Well its better buying it now cheap on eBay than waiting until it becomes high on demand when the motion wand hits (if you're planning to get it) other than that there really is no use aside from 1 or 2 games imo.

Eye Create from the PS Store is good and some games use it. You can also set it as your mic.

In Spring 2010 there will be plenty more coming.
