Getting 1.8 without having your PS3 connected to the Internet

I usually grab my firmware update from here: 

http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Network/Updates 

But it still says 1.70. Does anyone know when 1.80 will be available?

I'm eager to get my hands on it. I hope they get it up on their site soon. :)

if you usually grab your updates from there then you'd know that it takes a few days for them to put the latest update on the web.
