k ive been kinda pissed about the psp not having a lot of good games but this fall theyre makin a ton. i was super excited but then i thought, all they are are portables versions of better ps3 games (motorstorm, assassins creed, littlebigplanet, gran turismo, metal gear solid). so if im gettin a ps3 should i sell my psp? ds sounds a lot more useful now, which sucks because i sold my ds for money for my psp!

Alot of good games are coming out for the PSP. Dont sale a system to buy another one. You may regret it in the end. But if you are really done with the PSP then do what you feel is best.

The PSP has tons of good exclusive games both currently and coming in the future, but if you're not into any of them then yeah, you may as well get rid of it.

It sounds like you've already made up your mind. Just go with the PS3, sounds like you'd get more enjoyment out of it.

I would say yes even though I really have no clue why you should really buy one. Hey, I guess it is just a portable PS3. That's all I got.

I'm not sure why you would compare a handheld to a console, but if that's you, okay, I also don't know why you would compare PSP to DS, DS has trash games.

I've been thinking the same way man. Next week I'm buying a ps3 and I just might trade my PSP in against it. I'l get 60 Euro credit for it and I bought it for 100 Euro second hand so I'm not really losing out :P I think that all the games on it and even the new ones just aren't that great. They're all kind of Mediocre....

No.

Also, back to topic. If you like MGS, Peacewalker is being directed by Kojima, and it won't be released on the PS3. It'll also tell you more about Big Boss's story, and I don't think it'll be released on the PS3. I'd say to keep your PSP, and get a PS3 slim either way. You can actually get ad-hoc party on the PS3 (with a JP account) and play with other people online (in ad-hoc only games) if you have both the PS3 and the PSP. After all, you can get the most out of your PSP if you have a PS3.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 same story as MGS: Peacewalker.digimonkey12
Oh yeah, I never got why they did that. Weird that they'd make a game on the PS3, and the direct sequel on the PSP. At least Portable Ops is a PSP game, lol.

:) sorry for the post confusion gigaman299.

I deleted the original post.

Anyway.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 wont be released for the PS3 either but as a PSP exclusive.

And when you get a PS3 then you will know what you will be missing.

PS it is not so weird about VC2 because it sold terribly for the PS3 even though it has becomed a beloved PS3 game . The devs are hoping for some Monster Hunter succes when it gets released for the PSP and i think they might be right.

That seems like the right decision to me. Yah I've been burned way to many times by selling games/systems that I've wished I kept a few months later.
