Hands down either Motorstorm or F1. Online is great for both as is single player. Also if you an NCAA fan, College Hoops comes out next week which is a must have for anybody who likes B-ball.
how is Virtua Fighter 5? i didnt like the 4th one that much, only fighting game that ive liked so far was Tekken. Motorstorm looks awesome, played the demo at CC but the problem is that replay value, same with resistance. Online, as long as it not filled with annoyin lil kids then i would play it alot :\
Get Resistence, that's a no brainer, great single and online play and its PS3 exclusive. Then wait for Oblivion which will be out soon and pick that up the first chance you get.

i think Resistance is gonna be my choice, one thing i wanted to know if anyone that has resistance, at E3 the first preview of R:FOM they showed a gun at the beginning(i think its used through out the vid) is that still in it or did they replace the model? also does the gameplay look like that? http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=5856&type=mov&pl=game. let me know, thx for the advice/info.
As a matter of fact, that gun is in the game and it kicks ass. The graphic is stunning and excellent if you have a good HDTV but even if you don't, it still looks great cause I tried on my friends normal TV and still great

VF5 is good but it won't last you that long. R:FoM is your best bet and no... I don't think there is a little kid problem.

i have this same problem! im getting a PS3 in the coming weeks but i have no idea what game to buy. im really want Motorstorm but Resistance looks awsome as well. it all depends on how much of my tax money come in if i get a good amount ill just get bolth. but if i had to choose one man i have no clue!
Resistance for sure unless you dont like FPSs or good online games also motorstorm is really good despite what GS says Fight Night Round 3 is also great and if you like RPGs, you have to get Oblivion cuz youll love it
negative I like RR7. AND its one of the few games in 1080P. If you have one of those tv's anyway, you should at least rent it just to see it in action.

RR7 is like for people who have never driven a car before. as long as you car is even drifting in the slightest, it will automatically make you do the turn perfectly. And the computer spaces out the opponents just right so that you have to battle everyone one at a time. This game is almost as controlling as sony is to its customers.

Well, it's obvious that most people here are recommanding R:FoM or Motorstorm The main reasons are that they are exclusives, but they are still the best games for the PS3 as of right now
