I want to know what games I should get. I'm planning on getting Resistance and VF5 ,but I already have a 360 so I have Rainbow 6 Vegas and COD 3 and have owned most of the EA Sports games so are there any other must haves I should know about? Also, is God of War 2 backwards compatible and does it play in HD?

God of war 2 will play in 720p on the PS3. Well, if you're getting PS3 next week then you can wait for motorstorm. That's going to be in everybody's PS3 on it's laucnh day.
I'd pick up Ridge Racer 7 too, I thought it was a pretty good game. But then again, I am a huge RR fan, but you should like it, it has unique racing characteristics.
Yes you can play GOW2 on the PS3 it plays in 480p. And don't forget to check out Motorstorm it looks like it will be a blast to play online.2beers_in_hand

Uh, yea and it supports 720p.
It actually only supports 480p. If you got the 720p from IGN, they corrected the mistake later in the article I believe.

i'm picking up my PS3 thursday, but i'm not getting any games, i work at blockbuster on the side just for the prerelease's and games, so thats going to work out, haha, free PS3 games and blu-rays, scoreeeee

oh motorstorm is gonna be awesome, i love the demo. the tilt support feels great. beware bikes are hard with tilt as far as the demo goes, but ive heard theyve fixed the tilt a tad.
