Getting a PS3 (don't have a 360) what games would you suggest I look at getting? Basically like all sorts of games minus sports games.

Don't splurge so much JUST yet my friend. SOOO many great games coming out later this year for Ps3.

I would suggest A) Asking in the Recommendations Thread, and B) Not posting in a light gray font that is almost impossible to read.

I suggest to start off with Uncharted and then uncharted 2. Possibly the best ps3 exclusives. Plus number 3 is coming out later this year :) I have never played them, but apparently Little Big Planet (+2) is good. Not my sort of thing... I dunno if you have played any games which are available on multi-consoles, but maybe titles like assassins creed (2, BH) could interest you? Apparently Heavy rain is epic. If you are interested in FPS, there are many of them, depends what you like tho. And if you plan on playing online with friends. If you do I suggest getting the game they play online most. I appreciate that cod black ops has many flaws, but I like it a lot because all my best mates play online and that what I really like about gaming online, the interaction and trash-talking with mates. If not interested in the interactive aspects, there are a lot of games with strong plots and gameplay. Another game I enjoyed was red dead redemption. But that isn't exclusive to ps3, so I dunno if you have played that or not.

Don't get a PS3 yet. Sony is having a war with Anonymous so there may be issues with PSN :O On topic, Metal Gear Solid 4, Demons Souls, Uncharted 1-2, Mass Effect 2, Gran Turismo 5 if you grinding and driving games.

Uncharted 2 and Killzone 3 are safe bets. I haven't met someone who has not enjoyed either of these games yet. Maybe pick up Little Big Planet 2 to have a casual game to play when you just want to have fun.

Quick list of games to consider: Metal Gear Solid 4 Uncharted 2 (If you play the first one first, it's a lot more fun) Killzone 2 or 3* CoD Black Ops (If your friends play)* Little Big Planet 1 or 2* Gran Turismo 5* Red Dead Redemption* Grand Theft Auto 4* Assassin's Creed (The first one's kind of boring, so I recommend any of the newer ones)* Batman: Arkham Asylum (If your into Batman, I loved this game) Mass Effect 2* BioShock* Some games coming out this year to look out for: LA Noir Battlefield 3 Batman Arkham City Uncharted 3 I'm definitely forgetting some games coming out this year, but those are the main four I'm looking forward too. So I would pretty much recommend looking up each of these games and finding ones you that interest you. I know that was a broad list, but I just put down all the games that almost everyone liked, so you can't go wrong. For your convenience, I put a * next to games with a popular multiplayer or long single player, so that you know if you buy one of those, your getting a lot of playing time. I'm sorry if I missed some.
