Getting a PS3,what games should I get?

I am getting a PS3 next Friday for my birthday. I was wondering what are some good games that are out or coming out next Friday. I like Action, Shooter and RPGS.

Warhawk for multiplayer crazy action.

Heavenly sword for great action.

Ressistance fall of man for a great fps or if you want a tactical fps get rb6vegas

Oblivion definately for rpg.

He should hold off on Oblivion because the Game of the Year edition with Shivering Isles comes out the week of the 14th.

That is if he has not played it on the 360 already.

Warhawk for sure if you have broadband internet and like to play shooters online. Resistance Fall of Man is killer, as is F.E.A.R. and Rainbow Six Vegas.

As for action games, the only thing really worth speaking of that's out right now is Heavenly Sword. You might like Simpsons when it comes out at the end of the month.

There's lots of good games on PSN as well, so check those out and see what you like. IMHO it's pretty pointless to ask other people what games you should get, you should learn to lead yourself, choose for yourself - you'll like games a lot better when you use your own choices.

Oblivion (RGP), Warhawk (Action) and Resistance (Shooter).

Rainbow Six is a good game, really solid on "realistic' setting.

Ghost recon 2 is good.

Ninja gaiden.
