I wanted to buy a Nintendo DS first but their out of stock everywhere. So the PSP seems like a good handheld to have. What games would be good to get with the PSP?
GTA liberty city stories, Castlevania, Final Fantasy tatics, and Guilty gear. Those are just a few that come to mind and that'll provide alot of variety in your games.
Theres plenty of games that are good however i must say if the ds is your first choice you should wait untill it comes out unless you are sure you will enjoy the psp..
Manhunt 2 is a good game but its rated mature and it is very gorey.
oh yeah theres 2 GTA games that are really good, FF games, Tekkan, Daxter, medal of honor heros 1,2, that one ratchet and clank games also pretty good, and there are also games like puzzle or something

Yeah I agree if you wanted a DS just wait for it but if your sure you want a PSP than go with GTA Liberty City Stories and/or GTAVice CityStories, Star Wars Renegade Squadron, and Socom Fireteam Bravo 2 if you have a online which requires a wireless router.
Don't forget Metal Gear Portable Ops, Hot Shots Golf, The Syphon Filter games, God of War: The Chains of Olympus is coming out soon, there're a couple good racing games, as well as some good rpg's. There's no shortage of good games for the PSP, just not as many as the DS.
If you are sure that you want to get a PSP, make sure you are ready for the investment. trut me, it is a lot of money. But if you are really getting the PSP, thhe first games you should get are Hot Shots Golf Open Tee and Need For Speed Carbon. they are really fun and are at a good difficulty.
