Getting a PSP soon :) whats needed?

Im soon goingto get a psp, so what do i need? memory card ect... Im thinking of gettinga few games can anyone recommend me any... Im thinking of getting maybe Socom or GRAW as one of them and then maybe a car game? thank

Assuming you get the core pack - do you plan to use your psp to play music and/or videos? If so, you will obviously need a bigger memory stick, at least 1gb, preferably 2gb. If not, a small memory stick (256mb or less, depending on what you can get) is fine. Although, memory sticks are fairly cheap these days, and the larger ones tend to be much better value for money - depends on how much you want to spend, i guess.

As for games... hmm well most psp games are love em or hate em. Ill stick with what i know, and say that monster hunter freedom is fantastic, definitly worth a try(i havent played 2 yet, but i doubt it wont be better). Tekken is very good. Ive heard the dbz game is pretty good too, and dbz fighting games are always fun. Burnout legends is good. The gta games are allright, but they lack something, i cant think what. If youve got some mates with them tho, the multiplayer is a lot of fun. That goes for all the games ive mentioned actually, its one of the great things about the psp.

For games, I would recommend:

Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, Daxter, Socom Fireteam Bravo 1 + 2, Crush, GTA: VCS, GTA: LCS, Killzone: Liberation, Locoroco, Lumines I & II, Gurumin, Kingdom of Paradise, Jeanne D"arc, Pursuit Force

Some other games that I recommend but are hit or miss from person to person:

Monster Hunter Freedom, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Tales of the World, Brave Story

Is socom 1 or 2better than GRAW 1 or 2? which one out of the 4 should i get?

Both Socoms are good, but go with Socom 2 since there isnt any benefit in getting 1. I have not played GRAW2. I highly reccommend Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror

get socom and in october get final fantasy tatics the lions war, if your not a fan of the RPG you will still like the game :) if not get madden nfl
