Getting Playstation 3 need advice

I'm finally getting a playstation 3. I already have a 360 and a wii. I'm curious what games should i get for the playstation.

I'm planning on getting 3 gmes when i get the system. Which 3 would you guys recommend. Just a little more detail - if its multiplatform game i probably already own it on the 360 or will buy it on the 360 (i'm a fan of the achievement points). So i'm pretty much looking for those ps3 exclusives i should pick up. Oh and also any particular blu ray movies that blow you away?

I do not care for racing games so no answer on Motorstorm. But Resistance is good, I still have it in my collection. Yeah..I loved Uncharted, it is kind of lke "The Goonies" for an older crowd.

Warhawk, UT3 and Ratchet

Without doubt, Uncharted should be your first pick up. It's easily the standout PS3 exclusive and as a side bonus it'll appeal to your love for achievement points (without actually literally having them).

Following that it depends what you're into but Ratchet and Clank is a pretty safe pickup and Heavenly Sword is surely recommendable (if a little on the short side). Technically Ninja Gaiden Sigma is an exclusive so if you've not played the XBox original yet, it's won't disappoint. If you're looking for a First person Shooter, it's a tossup between Resistance and Unreal Tournament III.

As far as Blu-Ray Discs go? Planet Earth it the best piece of high definition digital eye-candy out there right now (in my opinion).

I'm planning on buying a PS3 in about 1 1/2 - 2 years from now. I don't recommend on buying a PS3 at the moment there's no real good games out for it to justify buying the entire system. If you take a look all the 9.0 games on PS3 (minus Ninja Gaiden Sigma, which of course was on XBOX anyway) are all games that you can get on XBOX 360. So if you have a 360 already don't waste $400 man. The PS3 is an amazing console, but the games for it at the moment are crap. And not all, but theres not nearly enough to justify spending half a grand on it. That's why I'm waiting till it matures. Much like the PS2 being Sony's bloom right now with over 3,000 games (check Gamespot all games list for PS2) meanwhile PS3 barely holds a couple hundred I believe. So wait till developers learn how to make games for the PS3 properly, (cuz right noweveryone's hellbent on trying to make games look good, but not be actual good games i.e Lair)to utilize the Cell processor's full power, and then get it in it's prime!
