getting this tomorrow but concerned about that

hey guys tomorrow i plan on getting prototype, am imaking the right decision over infamous, i played infamous demo and liked it but im so into rated M games so am i making the wrong choice? regardless im getting infamous sometime down the line sooner or later or vice versa

If you've played both games, you only have to think about it for a while and simply make up your own mind. Here you're only going to get mixed answers.

And don't look at the rating only before buying games ;)

inFAMOUS over Prototype. Prototype gets boring after a while and inFAMOUS has better gameplay, story, and graphics. I think they are going to release a demo for Prototype in a couple of weeks, you could wait. However, i would pick inFAMOUS over Prototype.

listen to the vid reviews not just the rating....cuz i'm guessing you are underage////buy the greatness of the game, not the esrb rating....

get infamous first, better graphics, tighter control, great story and the powers are awesome. I have started playing prototype and enjoy the game quite a bit. The problem I am noticing with prototype is it looks like it could have used some more time in the oven. Its not as polished as i would hope it to be, still a good game though.

i was just saying rated M games usually appeal to me more, im actually 21 but thanks guys for the info infamous it is then =)

they both really dont 'wow' me for an exclusive they are good plays but infamous you like are weak and you get stroner in prototype your just a hardass at the get go get infamous first support PS now and multiplatforms later

i just bought prototype yesterday, the game is ****in crazy. havent played the full game of infamous but from what i played of the demo, i didnt really like it

That is where inFamous gains the advantage. Where Prototype uses completely foreign keyboard characters, inFamous simply utilizes capitalization to make its title look cool, thus making inFamous the superior game.

I couldn't stand either of them, i'd play inFAMOUS if I had to play either of them though, initially they're the same game with small differances such as prototype being faster paced and more violent but infamous has pretty amazing graphics for such a huge game. Buy something else is my advice though.

I almost passed on Infamous due to the demo not really impressing me. Picked it up and don't regret it, way better than the demo. Played Proto for about 20 min. can't say I'm picking it up unless it drops to $20.
