Well, not everyone is as good as you. I have no problem confessing that I'm a solid medium player. Hard is just a bit beyond me at this point, and expert seems about as attainable for me as winning the lottery.:P
Don't know really what to say except keep searching and maybe you'll find someone. That, or go to the GHIII forum and search for players of your skill level.
i have to practice about 5 times to beat a song on hard but i get 98% or better on medium, and plus if you play on medium im going to play on medium because that way its fair but if i play on hard and miss one note when you hit them all you win so its just that they are going to play to win
Well not everyone sits and plays the game non-stop and most people are not musically inclinded. I had to teach myself to play the Guitar (the game) in righty as I just didn't find the controls to be easy for my fingering as a lefty. I can kick butt in medium, but on hard, I just cannot finger to save my life.

same for me...it's all because of that EVIL orange button -_-...i can get amazing scores on medium...but just throw that orange button in...and...*goes to corner rocking back and forth sucking on my thumb*
i used to be like a lot of you guys it seems but one day i just started playing hard and i was able to conquer the almighty orange button. I guess it just took awhile.
got to say i am exactly the same as nyc05: a soldi medium player. just got 5 stars on the pretender last night on medium. took a while to get used to it lol, but it is finally done.
I've beat every song on medium except Lou. Only because I haven't tried but I probably couldn't beat him at this point anyway. I just have too many games to be stuck on GH3. Rock Band kicks @ss, so most the time I am playing drums on it. I play guitar for real and find GH3 harder to play than the real thing. I guess because I can hear, see, and feel where to go on the real guitar whereas the toy guitar all I can do is see where to go.
Edit: Oh, BTW you don't need any musical talent to play GH3. Just thought I would throw that out there.

thats confusing because when you play with your left hand on the buttons that is righty and lefty is when you play with your right hand on the buttons. but also knowing music doesnt give you an advantage, i know a lot of people that play the guitar and they are terrible at GH so....
