tell the stories of girls that have played in your ps3 (and if you're a girl share them too), and stories about girlfriends, etc.

Do they think it's a funny and cool console? I have been hearing alot of the combination of super rub a dub and girls...:roll:

Now seriously, the PS3 does not yet have the same mainstream girl game catalog that the Wii and Gamecube consoles have. Let's face it, if the girl ain't a real gamer (meaning she plays more then just bejuweled and rub-a-dub like games) she won't find the PS3 accesible.

My girlfriend hates when im using the system and shes here with me, but.. once shes online with resistance I cant talk to her for at least an hour.. shes totally addicted to it, and now that I got a mic with warhawk, shes online chatten with dudes from who knows where.. its funny, she used to get mad at me for playing, and now.. when shes playing and I try to talk to her,all I get is SSSSHhhhhhhhhh!!!Abicus7

girl gamersseem to like controllers to rumble for them, but with the sixaxis girls might find more fun in shaking the controller.

The Wii delivers on both of theseaspects and that's whyit could bemore appealing to women.;)

My live-in g/f has really not found the excitment of video games since we meet back in the ps2 days (about 5 years ago). I'll still always remember when she first moved in, she would be half asleep and wake-up all parinoid at like 1 in the morning. "Who the hell are you talking to?" I would say, "Oh, sorry, I'm playing Socom and we just fragged some guy and blew up their base. . . it was sweet!" Then she would get all pissed and leave the living room and go to bed and then b!t(h at me for not coming to bed.

Girls, they just don't get it I guess.

But, I do believe that Rub-a-dub appeals to a lot of women. My mom and girlfriend love it. They can play that game for hours straight, which is beyond me.

Anyways, I would guess the Wii would have the most appeal.

There are a few girls out there that play PS3 I have 3 on my friendslist . Two I met playing R6: Vegas. I think half the reason girls don't play is because guys get all weird when they play with them. Guys were literally falling over themselves in R6 to be on their team. It was ridiculous. I like the one guy on my team who followed them in the game everywhere they went acting like he was going to protect them. It has to get annoying.

Another girlfriend of mine plays WOW and she gets so much free crap from guys it's insane. For example she will be questing with some random person and mention she likes their staff and next thing you know they are giving it to her. Sometimes they will die trying to heal her and keep her alive. It's hilarious.

Rub a Dub is a little lame I think, LBP should be fun for us though.

My girlfriend likes all of the consoles... but she has a PS3 and a 360, not a Wii. She doesn't play any PS3 games though... just the PS2 games so far... nothing caught her interest so far in the PS3 lineup. After I beat Bioshock I loaned her that and she's enjoying it a lot atm.

Ha, I know exactly what you mean. My girlfriend played on and off for a bit. She had a female night elf. Had the girliest name possible. This one guy would give her gold constantly. Protect her on quests. I logged on her account one day and actually got the guy to give her 5g to dance with no armour on lol.

I had that problem too with my last gf. my new one actually likes games. i knew here back in the snes games, where we would play DK country3together, i think i was like 12 or 13and then we didn't see each other for a long time afterwardand now we hoked up. sweetness!!! but anyways game wise today, she like some games likegears for the 360 alongwith some other stuff i don't recall(which she has, that's how i know my 360 stuff) guitar hero for the ps2a lot, and she brings guitars to my house all the time. f*** i got guitars laying everywhere. she says her friend bring them to her house. i still don't know why she has 3 of them... s**tz crazy over here. My cousin and here husband like guitar hero too. I can't stand it. i don't really count it as a video game to me, but whatever.

Taking a picture of your fat girlfriend holding your PS3 doesn't make any type of a good statement. In fact I would prefer women to stay away from the PS3 - we don't need any girly games coming out to girl up a good system. The day I see Sony put out a pink PS3 I'm putting a stick of dynamite in mine.

I seriosly hope a pink ps3 doesn't come out, along with Singstar...

But seriosly, Singstar will greatly appeal to many girls out there, and it will be a system seller for them, especialy in Europe, where SingStar has always been famous.

But for now...Folklore and Super Rub a Dub...those are the only ones...Maybe the main character in DMC4 will get their attention...I can't think of other games...maybe LBP :P

However, more girls in all the platforms would certainly help diminish the feeling that's currently undergoing.

Well... I am a girl, and I have a PS3, Wii, 2 Gameboys and PS2 and a SNES. I also just bought an HDTV to make my PS3 experience better. So... there are girls that like to game. I love my PS3 and I love to game... and no I don't squeal at the thought of "little cute duckies" falling... I do however, like to blow sh*t up. I enjoy killing zombies and the like. Gaming is assumed to be a pretty sexist hobby. My girlfriend effing hates it when I play video games and she's around, and absolutely refuses to believe that there are girls out there who like to play.

The chances of a girl investing a good amout of rupees on a PS3 is very slim. Most girls period just don't play games, or own last gen consoles - which isn't a bad thing as the library is deep and vast.jts31689

Oh man why do people insist on saying that buying a gaming console is an investment?? Its NOT an investment! Its an EXPENSE. If anything its a waste of money! Yes I love playing games but no matter how much I love it or anyone else loves it it will NEVER be an investment! Buying a home is an investment, going to college is an investment, putting money in a mutual fund is an investment, buying a business is an investment! Buying things like cars, pizza, or video game consoles will never ever ever ever be investments!
