God of War 3 2009?

I thought the original date was 2009?

A late 2008 release would be amazing. But if it's gonna be rushed to be released in 2008, I'll be content with a 2009 release.

i am a 360 fan boy but mgs4 and god of war 3 i wish i had a ps3 for those game freaking awesome played gow1 n 2 and mgs1-3 :D

Well God Of War 1 did come 5 years into PS2's lifespan so may the same will happen with GOW3 buuut I have a feeling the game is already in development and will make a mid 2009 release. I hope Sony unviels it at E3 08 that would be an instant win for Sony right there.Swift_Boss_A

I don't think a trailer at E3 is too much to ask. Even a 45 second clip that shows Kratos in all his next-gen glory would make it worth it, and would hype the game enough for another year.

I bet there will be some kind of video soon...well, honestly hope it does. GoWIII in next-gen will be an incredible sight...:D

the reason GOW2 came out 2 years after the first GOW was because the guys behind the game already learned the PS2's architecture from developing GOW1, GOW1 was actually in development for 4 years !

Since PS3 is pretty new GOW3 could make a 2010 release but I'm optimistic and I can see GOW3 coming in 2009 and looking fantastic. I just hope Sony Santa Monica have been working on GOW3 for atleast the beginning of the year secretly.
