I was reading this and thought i should share it with you guys. I pray that they wont water down our version (USA) to enable it to be released in Australia. That would suck.

On behalf of all aussie gamers, i apologise to you in advance.
Kind regards,
Carving_a_Giant.
I'm so mad at Australia for being like this, at least in thw US stuff doesn't get "banned", it just gets a rating changed (nothings ever been banned here, right?). If they force GoW to water down their game, I will never forgive them.
Its not surprising that they will ban GoW3 in Australia. Many other graphic games have a hard time selling there, too. But, it will NEVER happen in America. I still see parents happily buying games like Manhunt, Dead Space, GTA, and other for their 8-14 year old children.
Personally, I find it disturbing when I see an 8 year old walking out a store behind his parents holding GTA IV: Vice City in his hands with a smile on his face.

Well they watered down manhunt 2 and mk vs dc here. I think the euro versions were the only ones uncensored.

I've played GTA IV, and GTA: Vice City, but I've NEVER played GTA IV: Vice City. Oh boy, I'm going to GameStop tomorrow!!!

I feel that there are worse things on tv. I mean have you ever seen super jail? That show is grotesque in it's violence. But I think it gets some slack since you're not in control of the characters. But damn I almost lose my lunch everytime I watch it.
