The way I see it, Heavy Rain is a unique game for a must experience but can wait. GoW III imo has all round awesomeness to it and you can't go wrong with that game over Heavy Rain. With that said, GoW III out of the two.
why people compare so different games? I mean in my eyes it's hard to compare even street fighter with Tekken and you want to compare a crazy mythological hack & slash game with ............... something totally different !! with that said just ask yourself what do you value more? some fast pacedaction with lotta blood and gore or some really emotional butslow experience with good replayability value? the best answer for meis get both 8)
Heavy Rain is too boring for me. But God of War is exactly the type of the game I love to play. It's up to you: HR = Great story (that's all)... GOW3 = Awesome gameplay, good story...
I chose Heavy Rain because there's something about that game that just stands out from the norm. It's definitely a game that shouldn't be missed. But GOW3 is just as good, enjoying it now!
