not neccasarily, either jaffe or balrog stated that if it takes more than one game to finish kratos' story they will make more than one.
I think Jaffe said in some interview a month ago that it hadn't been started yet. I think it was some gamespot guy asking Jaffe some questions outside his office building. But I'm sure that it should be out by 2009.
God of War 3 will come out and they did say it may be the last God of War but until God of War 3 comes out u can always play Heavenly Sword so far it looks similiar
Kratos has to kill off Zeus and the other gods as well as the Titans. It's the only way to explain why none of them exist today.myxylplyx
um because people stopped believing in them, jk i know you where being sarcastic, but that would be crazy if the GOW series ended on Kratos ending the God, the Titans, and all other mythical creatures.
i dont think ther is a dought that a GOW3 wont arise. its one of playstaion's best series. they need this game along as other great exclusives to keep the ps3 from failing.

Jaffe seems to be out of the loop on the GOW franchise as of late. I don't think he and Sony are on very good terms at the moment. Barlog appears to be running the whole GOW show now.
god of war 3 is coming out...it will be the last god of war...however, they said they will continue to make greek methology games because the story of gods can make up a lot of games...so after god of war 3, expect a new series keeping it greek methology roots
Jaffe didn't even do GOW 2, so he's out of the loop. I say good-riddance personally. He can work on his little Calling all Cars type games, and leave GOW to people who actually want to be there.
GOW 3, I hope we don't see it until 2009 because I want them to put the time into this finisher that it deserves. I've been waiting for a great epic for PS3, but I don't want it rushed out.
