god of war 3 has just been announced at E3 for PS3 and I'm siked but what could happen for the story? at the end of god of war 2 it showed all the titans and kratos climbing mount Olympus to get revenge on the gods but that leaves little room for story for the 3rd 1 all that i can think of that happens is he goes to the top of mount Olympus and kills all the gods. what else could happen?
Lmao. It is a spoiler but I doubt it's going to attract any attention. The story obvious will be something they decided to either tell or go over what they missed. It's going to be good, I just hope it won't be a 10 hour melee fest.
So Kratos is going to end up killing the gods -- and im guessing somthing happens with the titans... add to it he seems to die/ go to the afterworld in everygame...
Id say their is plenty of room for the devlopers to createa good story for GoW3 and GoW4...
To be serious Im sticking with the band wagon and think the Titans will totally betray Kratos for being too destructive. So, after fighting his way out of hell yet again he saves Zeus and they team up to kill all the Titans once again and it ends with everyone dead and Kratos and Zeus betray each other when all the Titans are dead and one epic boss battle starts. Kratos wins and then is either the ruler of Earth or he kills himself to become with his family who have forgiven him and the world just moves on

From the Trailer, it looks like Kratos already took care of Olympus.
So it sort of looks like you have to defend Olympus (for your self) against The Gods trying to take it back and the Titans whom you ditch. Don't Know how that would make sense as a story. But the person that posted above me had a really nice, Idea, I wouldnt mind that at all. I mean fight all the gods and then ... Fight all the Titans it would be like GoW + Shadows of the Collossus + Kratos in 1080p ... drools!

Yeah, I love God of War series but I'm through with 10-hour melee fests. I'm expecting a more in-depth game. I played GOW1 & 2, as well as GOW: CoO and they're basically the same game with more action. More of Kratos yelling at the Gods and dwelling in his self-pity. He's a badass, make him less whiny and more progressive. Dont flame me, it's a great action game, with not so much substance.
I think the first lvl starts off destroying olympus. There will be lots of little mini games and a lil bit of boss battles.Then one by one you defeat every god.But then zeus will probaly run like a coward. So then i think the true story starts off. chasing and looking for zeus.
^ considering so many Greek heroes made their appearances in God of War 2 then hercules will probably turn up, ready to be killed by kratos :P im pretty sure kratos will take over Olympus in the first few parts of the game, then all of the titans - or just one of them - will betray Kratos, send him to underworld, he comes back, kicks everyone's ass, game ends. its been that way since the beginning of the series xD but i doubt Gaia would die, shes the story narrator and if she does, then only at the very end.

kill his brother?? eh, why not. he is afterall trying to kill his father zeus. maybe Kratos is hecules. He's from sparta and was like the Spartan god / idol which hercules was. he killed his family, like hercules does, he comes back from hell, like hercules does and is Zeus' son like Hercules is.

( Spoiler Alert) Ive got to say that i wanted Ive been a die hard kratos fan since the first one came out, and the ending of god of war 3 it just killed me to watch All kratos work and willingness to kill Zeus never happened and his last words were goodbye the ending to this game was really disappointing.Sorry kratos fans it ended like we never would expect.
