So with God of War 3 upon us... Which edition of the game are you getting? The ultimate or the regular? Im personally getting the ultimate edition since well... Its badass.
Ultimate edition pre-ordered. I'm surprised Amazon.com still has 8 left! It's sold out everywhere. And it's funny how I see people doing minimum bids of $200.00 on eBay when it's available at Amazon.com for regular price $99.99. Ignorance is bliss? In this case, no! :(

If you think about it from a business perspective, it'll be worth many times more than $40, which is an addition to $60 (standard game) = $99.99. A month or two from now, people will be offering upwards of $200 minimum for these bad boyz. I wasn't going to get it too but in the long run, if I decide to sell it out of boredom or if I need cash, I could do so and make some good pocket change. It isn't a bad idea, really. For $40 more, you get the Dominus skin, Metal soundtrack, and exclusive videos (if you're into that kinda thing, I am). It's totally worth it. Put it this way. The Gears of War 2 Amazon.com package with Life Size Lancer was in total $129.99. The Lancer alone is going for $250 minimum. I found about 10 of these on sale at different sites, eBay, Amazon.com, etc and only one was going for $250. The rest were going for at least $350 to as much as $500. And people will buy it.
I preordered the Ultimate at BestBuy.com, they say it's packed and ready. I hope it shows up tomorrow. (That's why I gave them more money..) To the rest of you, enjoy.

Do you live in Europe? Lately, there haven't been any go over $200. I'm looking at eBay right now, and the cheapest Ultimate edition I see is $169.99 and that doesn't include shipping. So maybe I exaggerated just a bit, but it's pretty darn close. hehe

I gave into my better judgement and ordered the Ultimate Edition. I'm just a sucker for Limited Editions, and this one seems it will be at least somewhat a hassle to find later on.
Regular... Why to waste your money on a plastic box and some soundtracks. With the money you would spend on the ultimate edition you could buy one more game.
