the demo is being MAILED. it is NOT downloadable. there was a blog post on blog.playstation.com saying that it was mailed today. those who signed up for it (in july) will receive it by next week.

Im not sure about this... Do you have a quote proving its really not going to be downloadable or are you just saying that?.. Because Im pretty sure there is going to be a seperate downloadable demo available after the umd demo has been shipped...

I remember reading about them saying they were doing a UMD demo and a downloadable demo.

They said the downloadable version would come a bit later, and the UMD would feature some video content (making-of type stuff) that wouldn't be on the downloadable version.

Exactly.... it would be so much easier, quicker, cheaper and would allow EVERYONE to play. Not just the damn people in the states. Im so pissed off right now, if theyre gonna release demos why not ship them worldwide, gives more people a chance to play the game, making them more likely to buy it.

There are 2 full levels on the demo so I'm saying it's going to be 30 minutes to an hour long. Then there is some special features.

Are u sure? And i bet those special features are nothing more than lame dvd extra type stuff. It will be nice if they show some early footage/concept art of the PS3 game.

I remember hearing in GameSpot's interview with the developers that there is going to be some special features. But I could be wrong.

Has any game that released a downloadable demo got this kind of Press. There is even talk that due to it's rarity it is going to become a collectable demo UMD. How much better Promotion can you get.

Settle down! No need to get agrivated or upset. It's just a demo. It's free. Maybe they shipped it the cheapest way they could and it will take a little longer than normal. (Economy shipping is 9 to 10 days or something)

Quite acting like they owe you something.
