God of war: collection

okay, Ive reserved my copy from gamespot... here is the thing, Ive read alot of topics of ppl saying that real fans wouldnt buy this because they played it on ps2. pooh to you, Ive played and owned both copies on my ps2. also my ps3 is backwards compatiable. why are ppl complaining so much. they say fans wont play. I thought a true fan would support something they enjoyed thats why they are fans. instead these guys are bashing the series they are saying they enjoy, stupid. what are your thoughts who is getting GOW collection

Never played the original games, so yeah I'm getting this collection. Always wanted to play them, but just never got around to buying them. This collection is finally enticing enough to get me to purchase the games.

I've completed the first game but still haven't bought the second, so yes I'm buying the collection. I'll probably import it from Play Asia since it doesn't come out in the UK this year.

I pre-ordered it yesterday. I can't wait to get it!

Possibly, depends on how I go with Assassin's Creed 2 and Modern Warfare 2, they'll probably last me for a very long time, atleast until GoW3. Also have Demon's Souls in my maybes so yer possibly haha.

Yep, probably the last retail game I'm getting for the PS3 this year.

Haven't decided yet. I think I'm going to try out my PS2 copies (haven't played them since I got my PS3 and HDTV) and see if they're really ugly enough to justify the upgrade.The_Pig_Hostage

The series is awesome, I just dont understand how these ppl who have played it and claim to be fans are bashing the collection, ugh for one it adds replay value, trophies, upscales the graphics. not to mention its 2 games for 40$$$... im all about it, I say let them hate because im ready to replay.j5r9s2

will definitely get this, didnt really get into the GOW series on ps2 (was about the time it died out in my house) , played chains of olympus on psp and was really engaging. the trilogy will definitely by on my now playing list lol ;)

I consider myself a true GOW fan. I bought GOW 1+2 on their release days and I still own them today. I bought a PSP mainly to play Chains of Olympus. I've got The GOW Collection pre-ordered from a US retailer because a UK release date still hasn't been confirmed.

The GOW games are games that I enjoy every time I play them. I've beat all three several times each. I will always play them. The GOW Collection will make two great games even greater. Why play them in SD on my PS2, that looks crap on my HDTV, when I can play the GOW Collection in 720p on my PS3? 60fps and trophies are a nice bonus too. To me, it's worth buying because I know I'll still be going back and playing the GOW games for many years to come.

I never got around to playing the 2nd one and I still have my copy of the 1st one so I'm debating between just buying the 2nd one or getting the Collection. I'm leaning towards the collection, but I won't be picking it up either way until probably after Christmas. Also wanna play Chains of Olympus before that and hopefully play through all 3 in a row before the 3rd one comes out.

Yah Iam buying it. I already own both games and have played them twice already on hard. But i was planning on playing them again but I'll wait till I get the collection though.
