God of War III dilema

This game is epic! This is the reason I bought my PS3. BUT......It looks like there's a fair bit of story to this game and I don't want to spoil it.I haven't played #1 or 2,and believe me, I want to play this game sooo much, but 1 and 2 aren't out in Australia until the 29th April. I'm not sure if I should just keep playing or wait for 1&2. Has anyone else had the same problem?

The story really isn't that deep and hard to understand. Hell, you can summarize the first two in two or three sentences. Just keep playing, shouldn't be too confusing for you.

GOW series:

• Game-play 90%.
• Graphics 5%.
• Story 5%.

The gameplay of GOW3 is SOOOOO epic that you souldn't wait just not to ruin the story.

if youre interested ign made a 5 minute summary of the first two games, so if you want to catch up on the story you can watch them, but there are spoilers for the first two games. or if youre patient enough to wait, it is well worth playing the first two first. they are both great games, though storywise, the video i posted will suffice

I disagree. TC, wait until you get the first two games. You'll appreciate GOW3 soooo much more after playing the first two and the story will also actually mean something to you.
