I understand that you can re-play the story mode in higher difficulties but is there any replay value other than that? After beating one of my favorite games on the PS3 I've been a bit disappointed that there seems to be little to do next. Plus it was far shorter than God of War II (which took me twice as much time) so I clearly need another way to take advantage of the full retail price I paid for it.

There are some challenges you could do where you go to a arena type level and just face swarms of enemies.

There is huge amount of replay value in god of war 3. Things to do after you beat the game.

-Play Challenge Maps to unlock combat mode.

-Combat mode= Pick any 5 creatures to fight that is in the campaign. Pick your own rules.

-If you collected any of the God's relics in the campagin you will be able to unlock special abilities for use in the 2nd playthrough.

-Trophies. Platinum is fairly easy to get.

There are lots of things to do after completing the game, aside from trying higher difficulty levels:

1. Finish all Challenges

2.Complete the game using other costumes

3. Find all Godly Possessions

4. Create some epic battles in the arena

5. View all Making-Of Videos

6. Unlock the Platinum Trophy

7. Rip off Hermes' legs again, and again, and again

8.Do the Aphrodite Minigame twice for an easter egg involvng the ESRB

9. Spend the rest of the time wondering what the hell happened to Kratos in the ending

It's always fun to just replay the game with all the bonus god items and bulldoze through the game, like GoW2 with the blade of Olympus.

I love the god of war series but i too have always had an issue with replay value. Usually i can pick up a game a year or so after i finish it and play it again when i forget the story but god of war 3 was just so damn epic and memorable. I doubt i'll ever forget it. The only bit not epic was the end. But i'll always remember it for how disappointing it was.

The replay value, in my view, is the game itself. Same with the other two. They're just damn fun. It's a little shorter, but not by much. All three take me between 6 1/2- 7 1/2 hours to playthrough.

It has none, I tried playing the game again and I just kept noticing the flaws like all the motion blur to hide the AA. Thats just me looking for faults though due to it being one of the best looking console games.
