god of war? would it become a good movie?

Well i'm gonna stay with my old idea set in stone that movies based off games are crap .(FULL STOP).

On the same subject but a different aspect; it seems Djimon Hounsou is favored to play Kratos, now the guy it more or less built like Kratos, and is bald... But i find it rather odd that Kratos the acient greek will be black in the film, dont get me wrong, i dont have anything against people of any creed, color and religion but i think this choice is alittle off like most other choices made by directors turning game to film... Opinions on te subject?

Another movie with tons of potential. They could easily make a killer movie just because of all the character in the GoW series. It's Greek myth, the list of names of gods and deities goes on and on that they could use.

I'd probably see it but the movie would need a Michael Bay type. The only way to make GoW is to have a lot of money backing it up with large scale porportions and a respectable CGI studio doing the work. If they hired the I Am Legend CGI crew, this movie could be possibly tank worse than Hitman or RE.

CGI movie would kick mucho ass.

If they went for a real people movie...carefull. Caution with the actors and with the voice acting.

Lets me put it this way:

GoW is the only game I think it'd be hard for Hollywood to ruin. I mean, they only need to leave the story just as it already is and volia!! You got yourself a blockbuster there.

But sadly, Hollywood makes their way into ruining movies.... how?? the hell if I know. :P
