Q4 of 08 is a pretty decent date, but i heard that some of the main guys behind GOW hav left. So is the 3rd installement gonna hav the same hype and more, or is it just gonna get wasted and not live up?
It all seems like speculation, particularly the date and 1080p info. The fact that it will support home trophies and rumble shouldn't be news it should be expected.

People said that about MGS3. but its almost a for sure thing that your gonna get a good game in the MGS series.
Ive only played the God of War series, i dont own it, but it was great from what i played, so i dont expect any different from this one, but it seems like a long ways a way yet.
When we hear the official developers words on GOW 3 then we can talk about it.
I can make a blog tomorrow and publicly announce Final Fantasy XIII is coming summer 2008.

yeah but chains of olymus is coming out in march. just a 1 yr difference. If they started working on the game when GOW 2 came out, then it means this one could be out by 2009. IMO

with GOWIII being one of the high profile exclusives for sony and it is maybe the last game to a trilogy and on a new system devs never worked on before......just do the math guys. WE will be lucky seeing a glimpse of gameplay in Q4 2008
First off, games wont take as long once devs get the hang of the PS3. Also, it has already been being worked on for a year. Sony might want to try and push it out before the holiday season of 08', would make sense to me at least. Hopefully it comes out soon, cause its the reason I bought a PS3. I think it is probably the best bet to get a 10 out of all the games coming out as well. The only reason I question it is that they'll have to do a lot of work finding bugs and such, and that takes a lot of time.
Sounds a little shaddy to me. I figure we got a while before the next God of War game even if the devs get used to development. It's that studios first real next gen project (assuming that is their chosen first project).
