So when i heard about MGS4 i got so freaking excited i thought i was going to blow. but whaaa??? i cant remember the story of the other 2 gameso.O (MGS1 & MGS2)

Whitch game did you get to knowwho the patriots are?? and i cant remember them-___-
In MGS3 Foxhaund was the good guys:O(with snake and the boss). why did they become bad in MGS1?? and who are Snake working for?
whitcg game was it were The NInja (grey fox i think) showed up? and who was he? did you get to know him in MGS3?
Why did they talk about BIG BOSS like if he was a man in MGS1, Its THE BOSS( the women) in MGS3 they are reffering to right? And as far i can remember snake became BIG BOSS didnt he?
Raiden... did he show up in MGS3? or was it just in MGS2?

em ive only played thru mgs3 and a wee bit of mgs2 but il answer what i can. ***SPOILERS*** mgs3 is the one were you learn who the patriots are. i think, think, it was mgs2 were the ninja came in naked snake, the guy you play as in mgs3 became big boss after killing boss. raiden was just in mgs2

1.- in mgs2 it starts the thing about the patriots and nobody knows who thay are realy.
2.- first in mgs3 its not foxhound its only FOX then Big Boss (Naked snake) for some reason (thats why i want the Metal gear solid portable OPS) fight agaist the fox unit and then forms HIS unit called "FOX HOUND" in his plans for conquer and ambition and "anger" he create the fortress "Outer heaven " "The one world in wich soldiers will always have a place" this you know later in the game fo course . Solid snake is in foxhound and bigboss (naked S) send him to a mission to infiltrate the fortress outer heaven to destroy the final weapon " Metal gear" but this is a trap set by the Big boss himself to kill snake " you have to play the first game" metal gear. Snake manages to survive and thats why foxhound are the bad guys in MGS. snake is working for the government
3.- GRay fox (Ninja) appears in MGS for PS. Solid snake knows Gray fox from Zanzibar land the second Game in MG series. And no you didnt not even see him in MGS3
4.- like you said in metal gear solid say BIG BOSS "refered to Naked snake" the father of the three brothers "Les enfant terribles project"and The Boss is the master of "naked snake" (women)
5.- No raiden didn't appears in MGS3 Thats Major "Raidenovich Raikov"Â ( i think its a parody or a joke from kojima). Raiden only appears in MGS2.

Because you need him to survive so you can take his clothes and don't send Volgin into a ****fit. It's a "time paradox" because everything was supposed to happen a very set way.
I've played through all the metal gears except for portable opps. I could answer all those questions but i know wikipedia has it all in much more detail. by the way HOW did you become so freakin excited about mgs 4 if you don't remember anything from the other games, half the excitement for mgs 4  is the continuation of the story
