Going to switch HDD but just a question.

Hi, I still have a 40GB HDD PS3 and I am planning to upgrade to a larger one (160GB). But I bought a couple of things like the LBP MGS Level pack and I already shared it with 4 of my friends. I am going to back up all my info on an external and restore back to my new HDD when I get it. Will my LBP dlc still be there? As well as my trophies and game utility data? I don't want to redownload the big update from CoDWaW also. =/

when i upgraded from 60gb to 300gb everything that was on my PS3 before was there when i re-imported it into the new drive. You shouldn't have to download again.

Once you use the PS3 backup utility that is.

awesome, so II don't have to buy it again? sweet. also, I reformatted my HDD once, because I had to troubleshoot for something, but when I logged back on to my PSN, all my trophies were gone =/. so does the trophies save on your psn account, the hdd, or the servers?

Well its stored on all the above. When you sign in to psn and go to look at your trophies it should take a sec to update the server. So as long as you have done that after your most recent trophy you should be fine.
