Gonna Get a PSP, but...

Well, I told my parents, I will get a PSP in like...September-October, why? Because I really wana play Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and some other games...
But I was wondering...what if the PSP2 comes out...like right after? When do YOU think the PSP2 will come out and how much do you think it will cost?

I think I read somewhere (don't know where sorry) that they were not thinking about making the psp2. So I think it is highly unlikely to even be announced, at least this year.

ok lets be realistic.I do believe sony will give portables one more shot at least, so there WILL be another PSP.But, if it wasnt announced at this e3, that means at least, its 2 years away.At most probably, 3.So if you want a psp for BBS, get it. Besides, i suggest as a side thing, to sell the dsi before 3ds hits.Its backwards compatible anyway.

They probably won't bother making a psp2 when the first psp couldn't compete with the ds.Lynx777

The first Xbox couldn't compete with the PS2 than look what happend.

But yeah the 3DS is probably going to be another huge hit, so Sony is going to have to come out with something really awesome to beat it.

Nobody has any idea on this board. Only people that know are the engineers designing it, and even they don't know.

But if I had to guess I would say it is going to be announced at next years E3 and be released March 2012. But that's just a guess.

Whats more even an iphone gets better graphics tha PSP

If they were to announce a PSP2, it would happen at least 6 months before it would actually be released. At the earliest, I don't see it being released until late next year. I think there will be a price cut or a PSP4000 this year(or early next year), but that's just a wild guess.
