Good 2-Player Co-op type games?

Hey I just got a second controller and just wanted to know what are some good 2-player co-op shooting type games we can play?

Got COD 4 but think that is only 2-player verses? I want some games where you can play against or with cpu players.

edit: by 2 player i mean i mean on the same console not online.

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 has the BEST co-op ever, 2 player full story (unlike the first), that can be played split screen or online offering lots of tactical options, and terrorist hunt (which can have up to 4 players online, 2 split screen). Resident Evil 5 is pretty much built for it, but Army of Two is also a lot of fun (although I suggest you both have equal skill or else one of you may get overly frustrated at the constant dying of the other).

here is a wikipedia page that tells you all the cooperative games and what type of cooperative they are.. (online, local ect.)

it lists all the platforms and a few games that aren't out but it's the best any of us can do to answer you..
