Chargable Controllers instead of battery powered controllers like the 360
1% failure rate compared to 360's 33% failure rate
PS2 / PS1 Compatiable
Great Line-up of games coming out this 2008 (Not a feature, but something to look forward too)
......Im leaving out alot of stuff, just to lazy to type anymore. haha. Your best bet is to not get a 360. Mine broke got a new one,it broke, then got another new one and i traded it for ps3 and god im so happy i did. PS3 is honestly way better than 360 in every aspect except 360 has a little bit better online features, but you have to pay for 360 online, and PS3's online is very good though, and PS3 online is FREE! :D
Ummmm, while an Off button IS a handy thing to have (and it comes STANDARD!), the PS3 offers a bunch of good features. I have an 80 Gig, and I find that to be a sufficient amount of memory, although I can upgrade if I need to.
USB ports, wireless controllers, Backward compatability with PS1 and PS2 games, the ever expanding remote accessibility with PSP, a built in BluRay player, the fact that the PS3 is a complete entertainment hub (not just a game system), are some of the cool features.
Not to mention the slew of great games set for release this year.
The only thing I can hope for in future updates is a DVR capability...

It's pretty easy to upload movies and music from your PC and portable device to it (seriously.... Getting music uploaded from my ipod to the Xbox 360 was a royal pain in the you know what!).
Customisable wallpapers
You can store Music, videos, download videos Demos games themes and so on. Have play lists, interact with PSP wireless. Wireless controlls that is charged through USB cable so you can connect it to a PC if you want to charge it there. havnt yet tried to use it on my PC so i dont know if that works. But you have Bluray, backwards compatabilety with PSX and PS2 games. Yes it works with regular DvD as well (Dont know how many people have asked me that Question)
its not a regular console but a Media center as well. so i think i've covered the most of it.

I had no issues on either the Xbox 360 or PS3. Both very very easy. Xbox a little easier, but neither one was a pain. As far as the PS1/PS2 compatible. This is not as correct these days. The most common PS3 you find out there at the B&R stores is the 40GB version, and it has NO ps2 ability. Just a word of warning. For me it doesnt matter since I bought the PS3 for Next Gen games and not last Gen, but for some this is a must. If so look for the older 60GB version if you can find it. Also I think Sony is adding some cool stuff with updates down the road.
wth i can only turn my ps3 off using my controller... the on button only works to turn it on lolurio1
That's strange because I can turn my system on and off via my controller or PS remote, also I can use either one of the units to control the disc play and eject the disc. Now I hardly ever touch my PS3 for any reason other than swapping disc (I never take a disc out until I am ready to swap to another disc). I also haven't turned my system off in months now (when not in use it's F@H during the time it's not being used).

oh yeah i can eject both ways too but i cant turn it off by pressing the power button... i didnt say anything b4 cuz i thought all ps3's are like dat... omg my ps3 is not cool :(
oh nvm it works lol i didnt realize dat the button has to be held hahahaurio1
That's great, you would be surprized at what can be done with a little practice or trial and error on the PS3. There are some minor changes that can be done even in PS2 games via the controller if you want to try (unless you happen to have a 40 gig SKU).

If your sixaxis doesn't last for about 30 hours of then it must not be fully charged to begin with. I can get about 30 hours of gameplay out of my sixaxis as long as I remember to turn it off when I am not using it. Sometimes I charge my controller once a week for just a few hours and it will last for the rest of the week (depending on how much it's used).
