Metal Gear Solid PO and Syphon Filter are good games with well written storylines. They also have some nice online gameplay that'll keep you playing for a while.Â
Yeah MGS: PO is fun and it has great replay value until you get everyone then you get bored. I loved it for the first 3 months now I haven't looked at it in ages

Syphon Filter is one of the best PSP games if you don't want to buy GTA.
Highly addictive and great single player. Not to mention it's only 20 bucks now. Â ;)

Well, for a few bucks more than the price of any other game, you can get both Syphon Filter and Burnout Legends for only 40 bucks (plus tax) if you live in the states. I haven't seen the greatest hits version of Syphon Filter in stores just yet, but it might be in stores now and if not, you can always order it off Amazon..
Either GTA game fits the bill. MGS PO should as well. Daxter and Rachet might work too though they are a bit short I hear. I dunno about the first but the story in Lumines 2 is pretty darn good.
MGS - PO has great replay value, I dont know what the other guys on this thread are talking about, the online is great fun. Burnout - D is an awesome game for a little while but it ends too soon. Monster hunter freedom (as mentioned by my friend ahmed :D) has incredible replay value and is great fun (but no story line elements for those who want a Final Fantasy type rpg). Tekken is just too good, amazing replay value. Love the new arcade mode, but lack of online play greatly hurts its replay value. But if your a girl, your fingers will start bleeding after an hour of gameplay so... :P And of course, the greatest replay value of any PSP game, GTA (either LC or VC). I mean come on, just do a infinite ammo and invincible cheat and shoot the hell out of those f*ck*n hookers and cops until your hearts content :P
Its not a game for everyone but lately I havent been able to put down Sid Meier's Pirates! once I learned how to actualy play the game it got addicting

Haha, but yeah, seriously, Dark Res. is an AWESOME game, and i'm not even into tekken and yet i still found it to be one of the best games on the PSP at the moment. As for MGS PO, which is an incredible game, is something you should definetly take into consideration. Â
