Based off comparing trophies with my friend, I noticed that Terminator: Salvation is very easy to get a platinum. All you have to do is play through it's 5 or so chapters on hard difficulty and you get a few golds and the platinum. Really, just beat that game on hard and you get platinum. Simple as that.
Wolverine, Bunrout Paradise, Assassin's Creed 2, Monters vs Aliens, Uncharted 1 & 2, Wanted, Batman AA, Tomraider underworld, Cabela's hunting games, GOW 1-3, Heavy Rain, Darksiders, Dante's Inferno to name a fewhiryu3Oh, yeah. Darksiders and Heavy Rain are great. Batman AA isn't too easy, though. The combat challenges can really make you suffer.
It was easy. Its just time consuming. It took me two weeks of nightly play sessions before I finally got that last blade stone. I enjoyed every second of it, though.Anyone else think Demon's Souls would be easy? 8)

Definitely agree with Uncharted 1 and 2 and Dead Space.
I disagree with Infamous due to the shard hunt – I guess if you use a map from a cheat site it would be an easy plat, but if you are going without cheats, the shard hunt can be quite time consuming.
A warning on Batman AA, it can be a quick plat, but only if you got the skills. Personally, I was never able to get a perfect combo going or get thru some of the challenge rooms. One day I plan on going back and fixing that because that game is all kinds of awesome fun. So could be either an easy plat or a hard one depending on your skills.
As I don't go after trophies, I'd imagine the plats I got are pretty easy to get: Fallout 3, Assassin's Creed 2, and Borderlands.
Fallout 3, possible in one play through if you save just before reaching level seven, reload three times and change your karma quickly. as enjoyable as a midget rodeo, i recommendplay_thegameYeah, that's what I did. You have to save at level 7, level 13, and level 19. Its easiest if you just stay bad the entire time cause you can reload, go to Megaton, donate 2000 caps to the church of atom and move your karma from the very lowest to the very highest. If you stay just below neutral it only takes 1000 caps to buy yourself back to good karma. Its an awesome game and an easy plat.
He said good games though! T:Salvation was ass.Based off comparing trophies with my friend, I noticed that Terminator: Salvation is very easy to get a platinum. Dragon Age Origins. It's easy to get, but it will take multiple playthroughs, and take you more than a few hours to get.
My current Platinum games are: Uncharted 2, WaW, MW2, AC2, Demon's Souls, and R&C: ACiT
Games that I am working to get platinum now: Dirt 2
Games that I might resume towork onplatinum later: Dead Space (60%), Prince of Persia (75%), Heavy Rain (80%)
and I am interested of infamous after i read you guys' replies.
is infamous like ac2? the hardest trophy is collecting points on map? and rest is very simple and straightforward?
InFamous is pretty easy. I'd recommend you avoid collecting any blast shards until after you beat the game so you can keep track of everything more easily. Also, there's a trophy for performing every combat maneuver in the game, and some can be pretty difficult to do after you complete certain story missions, so look up that trophy beforehand and take note of which missions to do these combat maneuvers in, just so you aren't pushed into another playthrough.
Burnout Paradise -(about 20 hours or so)pretty easy trophies, only one that was a pain was getting 7 other players to meet up at a specific place. Fun game though.
Fallout 3 - at least 40 hours to get platinum, but very fun and the trophies are pretty easy. Just a few you have to go out of your way to get.
Resident Evil 5 - can be a bit challenging with AI partner and professional difficulty, but not too bad. I think about 20-30 hours to plat if i remember right.
Infamous - 2 playthroughs, around 35-40 hours. Not too hard, even beating the game on hard wasn't bad. Collecting all the shards was kind of lame though. Fun game however.
So many other games that probably have easy platinums that I don't own or havn't gotten to yet. There are tons of family/kid games you can play if you really want trophies and easy platinums, but I don't know if those can count as being "fun"
Demon's Souls ... easy.Kruiz_Bathory
Terminator Salvation ... it's quite a fun game.xStarInTheHoodxare you guys joking or pulling his leg or what?
I think I can understand why people say trophies are ruining the gaming experience, it seems like people will only ever play games that feature them.what are they? Game still sold plenty after trophies appeared. And "there are people out there who refused to buy the game" is quite a different thing from "it seems like people will only ever play games that feature them".
Of course the game sold well....it's Metal Gear. New features sometimes take a while to catch on, the demand for trophies is obviously higher than it was back when MGS was first released, you release a game now without that feature that it will not sell because that is how shallow the average gamer has become.

A convenient revision to your hypothesis, because it can never be tested and thus is not possible to disprove. I guess that means it doesn't count as a hypothesis really. Well it's a nice little notion. But calling the people in this thread "shallow" doesn't really serve any purpose except to troll them. Please Log In to post.
