Good Online game that isn't a Fps ??

I don't have a great internet connection and when I'm playing fps, the lag is noticble enough to throw me off my game so I was wondering are there any fun, addictive, games that have a bustling community, and btw if you tell me to go check out the reccomedation thread ill eat your face. ( its not helpful !! )

Uncharted, Motorstorm, most sports games?

Little Big Planet? It can be kinda unplayable with a ton of lag, but it's still a lot of fun to publish your levels and then play other peoples.

I know you didn't want any FPS recommendations, but I feel that you still should maybe try the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo if you haven't already. I have a low internet speed (around 1.3 mbps download and .32 mbps upload) and the game ran pretty well for me. Other games that aren't FPS that I can think of off the top of my head -

-Demon's Souls
