Other than the PSVita being a great device with lots of potential, everthing else is overpriced.

I am very impressed with my Vita. They have a really good launch selection in my opinion, the graphics in games like Uncharted and Wipeout have to be seen to be believed. It has some really good social features, I can't wait till E3 this year to hear what new games they announce.

It is fantastic. Very smooth and elegant is how i would describe the system. The integration with the playstation store is great. Im gonna load up my 32 gigs really fast at the rate i am going. Great selection of games for a launch imo. Now, just waiting for more original, made for Vita titles in the future. The psn games are just as exciting as the full retail games. Very impressed.

It lives up to every expectation. Excellent system, and I can already tell that I'm going to enjoy this far more (and for far longer) than the 3DS.

I love my 3ds but this system is awesome. Only worried cause high 3ds sales some games may go there even though they would be better on vita.

-Took me like 10 min to connect to my router.

-Tried remote play on a few games, but only PS1 Megaman worked.

-I put some music on and it seems protected songs don't work. Audio is decent from speakers.

-Downloaded the Unit 13 demo, dl speed seems to be as fast as a PS3 download.

I'll need to charge it now, but so far so good. The display is vibrant and touchscreen is responsive. I do want to try and remap the menu icons if possible, but not sure if you can.

Forget the 3DS, how would you compare it to the PSP?

The Vita is amazing. As an older gamer (31), I find less and less time to play console games. There's just not enough time in the day for me to sit down for a couple hours and play my ps3 or 360. These handhelds have basically replaced my consoles for me. I enjoy my 3DS and now I enjoy my Vita. If we are comparing the Vita to the 3DS, then there is no comparison. The vita absolutely murders it. The launch games are awesome, the screen is gorgeous, the dual sticks are great, etc, etc. Well worth the price of admission.

I absolutely love it. I have been having a ton of fun with Uncharted and Lumines, it is comfortable, the controls are a hoot, and man is that screen gorgeous. I honestly couldn't be more pleased. My bank account could certainly be, but I'm happy as a clam.

Hardware wise its amazing, beautiful design omg that screen, and the buttons feel good after getting used to the smaller form, and i love how fast it is to swap between games and apps, compare to the psp and even the ps3. Just a little upset about no Youtube support atm. but seeing how fast the Facebook app made it to the Store, i have hope, tho the brower still could use some work, why cant they have Mozilla or Google do the browser for them.

So far, so good. I'll give more details tomorrow night as I just got it set up. A little weird that they make you set up a guest account first in order to update it, but the touch screen is really on par with iPod touch, and definitely more responsive than my Android phone.

I just turned 31 today myself, and I'm in the same boat. I almost have more gaming time at work on lunch break, or late at night waiting for my office clerk to finishing up the count for the night, than I do at home. I enjoy both of the portables as well. I'm enjoying the hell out of it, and that's just with one (awesome) game, Uncharted. Love how responsive the touch screen is, too.

Don't forget the large amount of demos available on the PSN Store if you haven't checked 'em out already!

Amazing system, best handheld I have ever played. My only problem so far is the PSN prices and Card prices, it is JUST launching so I assume they will soon go down in price.

I'm a 48 year old gamer, former PSP owner , you're never too old to game, I'm diggin the vita , I thought I would hate the new menu's but I actually like it, Played Wipeout and Super Stardust so far, and the demo of Unit 13. There are things i hope they add, like Supporting Album Art on Music, but for the most part I';m happy.
