I have both 360 and PS3. My 360 crashed and burned 2 days ago, and I mostly buy games for it. So, I was wondering if there is something out there exclusivly for PS3 that is a must have.
Seriously :|? This is a question people shouldn't even be asking anymore. Anyway, in my opinion Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Ratchet & Clank, Resistance 2 and Valkyria Chronicles are all must have exclusives.
I might try resistance 1 since it will be in the bargain bin. I tried playing the demo, but found it hard to get into. How does littlebigplanet play? Can you compare it to another platformer?
definately ratchet and clank, and the ps2 ratchet and clank games im sure they cheap now so play them on ps3. some of the best games you will ever play

Baiscally You cannot compare it to any other plat former out there, sure it has elemnts of them but is never quite the same, You have to play it to really know what I am talking about :P

basically everything this gent said except R2 is not my cup of tea. I would put GT5P(I know I know it's an oversized demo, but heck, majority of the COMPLETE games can't beat it anyway) on the list instead. Folklore and Heavenly Sword are another two good choices as well.

I back everything stated here Everything he said : word for word. Oh, and if you can grab a copy of Folklore, that'd be great too. Extremely underrated PS3 exclusive. But among the best, then the list Scianix-Black mentioned is definitely the cream of the crop.
I would agree with the Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, and Valkyria Chronicles nominations. Valkyria Chronicles will give you the most gameplay of the 3, but Ratchet and Uncharted are easily addictive enough to play more than once. Motorstorm happens to be possibly my favorite series for PS3. Its great. Both the first and the second were excellent. There are demos for both, but to be honest, the demo tracks they picked are the most vanilla tracks in both games. You would think they would want to show off one of the better courses. MS2 is a serious graphics upgrade to 1 and over 2 times the tracks. One game I didnt see mentioned is Warhawk. Warhawk is an excellent online all-out war game with tanks, planes (Warhawks), jeeps, and a variety of weapons. A bit like Battlefield series on the PC with more emphasis on the Warhawks. This game has been one of the most popular on PS3 and still has a huge online following. It has also receieved several expansion packs. The dev support for it has been as good as you could ask for. Heavenly Sword is a rental...period. The game is too short to buy unless you decide you have to play it 5 times through. Gran Turismo 5 prologue is an absolutely first class sim. It doesnt have many tracks right now, but they keep updating the game. The sim aspect is the quality you expect in a GT game. I have had a blast with this one. Other racers to consider are Ridge Racer 7 and Formula One Championship Edition (if your a F1 fan these tracks are dead on).
