Good PS3 games that don't need internet to have fun?...?

Just want a game to enjoy because my internet always breaks down...and i dont like playing Badcompany,KZ2,resistance 1-2 story over and over again because i beat them in their hardest settings...also i have oblivion but it gets tiring if you have and playedthe game for 2 years...any suggestions?(also dont mention Grand theft auto 4.) I'm planning to get that game already...

picking from my games it would be : Valkyria Chronicles , Fallout3 , Bioshock , Far Cry2, Soul Calibur IV (with friends onsite) , even resistance 2 on offline coop can be fun

Wow - where to start?

Heavenly Sword is absolutely fantastic - in my opinion, the production values of the story and voice acting in that are almost enough to topple the mighty God of War... of course, GoW is amazing, one of my favourite games, but I have to say until GoW 3 arrives, Hevanly Sword is my choice of fighter. The new Wolverine is also excellent....

Fallout 3 is a great single player experience with no internet needed at all. You get a lot of value for money and surprising replay value. I'm on my 4th play through now, and still I'm sure there's loads I've missed.

Bioshock is well worth getting, particularly as the sequel is out fairly soon, so it's well worth playing the first now you can get it at discount money. Uncharted is also great for the same reason - you can pick it up for next to no money at all by now.

Although I like online sometimes, I am much more of a "lone wolf" - preferring the old-skool single player experience all to myself. Hope you find a few games to fill that gap without going for online... :)

How about Fear 1 and 2, both are excellent games in my opinion also COD 1,2,&3 ?

Valkyria Chronicles. I will admit though that the game would be even more awesome if there was some type of online component. Probably wouldn't play it much online, but it would still be a great feature.
