Medal of Honor Heroes 1 and 2 are quite good. SOCOM FTB 2 is a must have if you want to play a good online game. Star Wars Renegade Squadron is really good too. GTA: LCS or VCS, both are good. But they're not all about the "Pew Pew." And Killzone Liberation is also good.
Add to my list if I missed any good shooters.
so is socom ftb 2 any good without online playjoel509As good as any of the other Socom games without online...
Honestly, I enjoy Coded Arms 1 and 2 and Ghost in the Shell. Don't care what anyone says. raven_squad
Coded arms sucks helllll, so does ghost in the shell go to hell. There are no good fps for the psp, the one that is just ok is maybe the Star Wars Battlefront renegade.
If you are really lookin for a nice shooter game, wait for the new resistance game, that looks awesome!

.... Why dont you just... shut the hell up? Coded Arms is a decent FPS for all intents and purposes, and I love Ghost in the Shell's anime, so obviously I'm going to like the game.Medal of Honor Heroes 1 and 2 are quite good. Try Syphon Filter, if you don't mind B-grade action movie scripts.Medal of Honor Heroes 1 and 2 are quite good. SOCOM FTB 2 is a must have if you want to play a good online game. Try Syphon Filter, if you don't mind B-grade action movie scripts. Its still a shooter and thats all that matters.I side with the post about "Ghost in the Shell"... who cares what anyone else thinks? I bet if we looked in Mr. Negativity's game collection we might find a few titles that "suck"... like that copy of "Barbie Big Pony Adventure" that's obviously gotten him so frustrated. Why don't you take your foul-mouth noob-ness back over to the bean bin, Chet.
As far as "SOCOM" being any fun offline, that's about the ONLY place it's fun, and yes I would say that it does a great job of being "SOCOM" on a handheld system. I personally don't go for the third-person view in a shooter, so the "Medal of Honor" games are more my style. I will be picking up the "Coded Arms" games as soon as I find them in the re-sale, because they look fun to me (oh no, perhaps fun-boy will tell me off *GASP*), I'm another gamer who doesn't follow forum trend on game popularity polls so I'm sure that at the right price those games are just what I like to play.
But stick to your guns out there (pun intended). Don't let anyone tell you what's good for you but YOU (and maybe the wife).
I'm surprised no one has brought up the Syphon Filter titles yet. Both games were awesome from beginning to end! Plus, they have a good amount of replay value as well. Though, I personally liked Dark Mirror over Logan's Shadow, I say pick em both up.EyeShatteredSky
I enjoy:
1.Killzone Liberation
2.Medal of Honors 1 and 2
3.Call of duty roads to victory
4.Socom fire team bravo 2

Agreed. But you might agree in turn, that the game is really not strictly made with the view in mind. The third-person makes your periferal vision much more broad & effective. Yeah, you CAN play it that way, but would ya wanna? Eh.
