Good time to buy a PS3??

Been looking to purchase a PS3 for quite some time and finally have enough to shell out and get one. My questions are is this a good time to purchase a ps3 SLIM 120gb? Are there any problems with their new model? Is anything going to be released at E3 that I should wait before purchasing one? Thanks.

I think e3 will be flat this time around. But it is a ok time to get a ps3, even though the online sucks, it has really good games like Uncharted 2, GOW 3 and Heavy Rain. I mainly played the single player portions because the online feels empty..nobody has mics.gamer082009

I personally would wait until after Sony's press conference. I think there is a good chance they will announce a new PS3 bundle that you might be interested in. Plus that way you'll be certain you like PS3s software lineup.

Wait till after e3, with the move about to come out, i expect that sony will bundle the move with new purchases after it comes out, and considering it has a diffrent layout than the regualr ps3 remote, it will probably come with the regualr remote to, or wait for best buy or walmart to come out with a good bundle, oh and also get whichever model is the cheapest, not one with a bigger hard drive, getting an upgrade drive for the ps3 is easy and cheap, but even then, it took me a long time to fill up past the default
