Can you guys tell me... which psp games are totally great and which one totally suck. I am just wondering about that cus i only have 2 games for the psp and i'm planning to buy some more sometime. Thats why i just want to know which games are goodbuy and which games you better can't touch.

Please say WHY that game is great or bad, so don't say the title of the game only. It doesn't matter what genre the game is.

thanks guys!

I'll give you a quick overview of the games I own:

  • Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords --[Good]-- Addicting gameplay featuring elements of RPG, Action, and Adventure, with a bejeweled like feeling. Great game, highly recommend this.
  • WipEout Pulse --[Good]-- If you like racing games, with a futuristic twist then this is the game for you! Very addictive racing gameplay, fun weapons, very fact paced once you get past the beginner stages, very fun to play online!
  • Worms: Open Warfare 2 --[Good]-- Basic Worms gameplay, basically shooting back and fourth, but with so many weapons, and the ability to create your own levels, aswell as online play and loads of customization to your worms, this game is one of my favorites. Huge replay value along with addictive and satisfying gameplay.
  • Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness --[Good]-- If you're a fan of RPG's and love to strategize then this game is certainly for you. There is no level cap in this game! So many character ****s, fun graphics and humorous dialogue make this my favorite SRPG, I choose this over Final Fantasy Tactics anyday.
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions --[Good]-- Another great SRPG, has a great story, your typical Final Fantasy ****s with all the usual spells and such. The graphics in this are beginning to seem very dated compared to something like Disgaea or Jeanne D'Arc. I like Disgaea better, but this game has a slower pace to it, which turns me off.
  • Monster Hunter Freedom 2 --[Good]-- This is a game that you'll either love or hate. This game has very repetative gameplay that involves doing quests over and over for materials, and seeing the same locals over and over aswell. There is just something about the game though, that for the people that love this, really enjoy about it. Working for every new piece of armor or for that new weapon, seeing that next boss, there is just a level of disipline involved with this game, and thus turns alot of people away from it. This is one of the few games that actually takes a players skill and tests it with every new encounter.

As you can see the games that I own are very differnent from each other. When I buy my games, I look for 2 things usually: Does the game have replay value? and Is it a game that I can play for a few minutes, to a few hours and feel like I got something done. I hope that this short review of the games I own helps you in someway, and that you might realize you like some of these games now that you have a different view on them, or have just been introduced to them.

Enjoy your PSP and Game on!

What ever you do, stay away from the PSP version of Full Auto 2:Battlelines. I bought it, I think the PS3 version it actually pretty good despite what everyone else thinks, and that was the first game that I thought, "I payed 15 bucks for this? I want my money back!"
