Got a copy of COD4 while in Singapore

Been lurking on the gs forums for a long time now, this is probably my First and Last post. However I just felt the need to sign up and be the bearer of good tidings.

As the title suggest I managed to get a copy of cod4 last week while on a business trip to Singapore. I was rather surprised as wasn't aware that it was out, or at least meant to be until next week.

Anyhow just wanted to say do yourselves a favor and get this game, even if you're not usuallyinto FPS's. It is without doubt the best game I have played in a very long while. I've been playing it on a 40" HD 1080 TV and all I can say is wow, coming from a pc background I never realize just how amazing a console game can look. The single playergame is one of the most intense gaming experiences I have ever had; I think I spend more timejust staring slack jawed at the pure beauty and scale of the carnage being played out around me.

To say I am finding this game beyond my expectations is an understatement, I mean I spent over an hour just re-doing one part of the early game tutorial, (iw 15 seconds!, you'll know what I mean when you play, and if anybody matches that your either superhuman or on drugs).

As for the multiplayer (and this is coming from someone with mp pc background) its probably one of the best I've played. It reminds me of BF2, but on a smaller and more intense level (and that's all good). Cant waitfor more people to get the gameas at the moment everybody seems to be from the uae or Bahrain, which is all good but a bit weird hearing Arabic being shouted down my Bluetooth headset.

Anyhow I realize this post is probably pretty pointless, but I haven't enjoyed a game to this level for a long time. So again if you're getting cod you won't be disappointed. If you're thinking of getting it, don't think do. For anybody else seriously consider getting what is in my opinion the best title currently available on the ps3.

Oh and one last thing, if halo can geta 9.5 (or whatever score it was) cod should get at least a 9 if not the same score. Ill be disgusted if it doesn't.

Online graphics are pretty much the same, lighting is toned down a bit. I mean in the single player you can actually see the lighting change onyourscope as you move in and out of the sun. Bu to be honest there sint that much diference , maybe the character models a little toned down, but not that you would notice too much.BadgerNSW

oh...another question

hows the offling multiplayer like? for example..is there coop missions? is there something like...where u try to shoot each other and is there bots?

There's no co-op for the sunglae player campaign. The only thing you can do is play a multiplayer game locallywith a 4 way split screen. In tried it out briefly and there didnt appear to be an option to have bots.

On the upside there are six multiplayer modes. Oh and you dont get to earn xp when playing locally, so wouldnt from what i can see so are limited in the weapons, addonsand perks you can use
