The best ps3 game right now is Uncharted Drakes Fortune. Also theres rachet and clank, call of duty 4, heavenly sword, resistance, warhawk, Unreal tournament 3, etc

Ratchet & Clank (Dont believe Gamespot review It really deserves a 9 too)

Resistance : Fall of Man - 1st person shooter

Uncharted : Drake's Fortune (Just got this one for Christmas)

If you're into RPGs - Oblivion : Game of the Year Edition - hours and hours of gameplay

A cheap sports game that I think is a lot of fun to play with friends : Virtua Tennis 3 (It's only $20 at most stores I've seen)

Madden if you're into football (I just saw a Target ad that says it's only $37 for a sale tomorrow)

Guitar Hero 3 (It's pretty expensive - $100 for the game and guitar controller, but it's a lot of fun)

Ratchet and Clank - I don't have the game but played the demo and it was a lot of fun.

Other games I don't have but have heard great things about :

Call of Duty 4 ($37 at Target tomorrow, Wednesday 12/26), Assassin's Creed, Rock Band
