I just downloaded the demo for Folklore last night, and it is sooo much fun!!! It's not the easiest game to play though. I think it's going to be a great game to pick up. Good choice getting Heavenly Sword! I'm enjoying that game too.crushgoil

Strange.. I'm not the best gamer in the world, especially on FPS I'm quite mediocre. But one of the main issues with Folklore for me was that it was a little too easy.

I really liked Heavenly Sword... it was just too short. I will give my suggestion for a game though. Warhawk is a great game!

Resistence is great and has great online, I would really reccomend it. Once you get online, you can download demos of both resistence and motorstorm and try them out before you buy. For additional games, I would thoroughly reccomend warhawk, it has some of the best and most fun online multiplayer out there. The online play is reliable and generally good, I never really have a problem playing online. Congrats and I hope you continue to enjoy your purchase.

Folklore gets 9.0 from IGN, impressive

Congrats, Man! you'll enjoy not having to phone customer service every 6 months trust me. i traded in my 360 for an 80gigand im also loving it. I ALSO have Heavenly Sword, Plus RFOM and Lair.

RFOM is really awesome if your planing on getting it and have ANY interest in FPS's

Lair isnt so great but its definately not as Bad as what Gamespot said (approach with caution).

PS. Oh.. and MotorStorm seeing as how it came with the console. Havent got around to playing it yet im mostly playing RFOM and HS.

Resistance, oblivion and warhawk are the best games for me in the ps3 also ninja gaiden,motorstorm,Rainbowsix. GRAW2 and Heavenly Sword are good games i dont have.

That's just plain ridiculous. Halo 3 and Bioshock are 2 of the best games available right now on any system.

But back to the point:
As far as PS3 games go, definitely check out Resistance and Warhawk if you're interested in multiplayer games. Resistance is a very tight, fast-paced shooter with a great set of weapons. It starts a little slow, but really picks up after a couple levels. Also, Warhawk's 4 player split-screen online play is fun as hell if you've got a few friends over.

Upcoming games you should keep an eye on are Folklore, Ratchet & Clank Future, Guitar Hero, Uncharted, Haze, Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, and Call of Duty 4. Just about every one of those games has the potential to be amazing. Especially Ratchet & Clank.

Hope you enjoy it. Dirt is a good game racing game, and sega rally is sega rally! with awesome graphics., as is either Live 08 or NBA 2K8 if you like basketball ball.

If you like heavenly sword, try ninja gaiden, much harder, looks good and you can use nunchuks!

Resistance is no -where near as good as looks in mags etc.. imoat least

Hey there, I forgot to mention that ghost recon 2 will definitely rock you if you want some new next gen stuff.

Just insane difference to normal stuff. I finished it on the 360, and I can honestly the demo on the PS3 is looking that bit sharper too, give it a rent AT LEAST!
