GOTY for 2010?

For me its definitley black ops,what about you guys?:)

For the PS3 it's Heavy Rain.

For me its easy, Heavy Rain nothing else comes close, runner up would be Bayonetta or God of War 3.

I think gamespot will give GOTY to Mass Effect 2, I can't see Red Dead winning it, the game wasn't that good imo.

To be honest, I thought Red Dead could've used some work. It was definitely Rockstar's best game, but there was something about it that made me lose interest.

I don't think one game really stands out. Red Dead, GoW3, Heavy Rain, GT5, CoD: Blops, Mass Effect 2, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, (and I'm sure I'm forgetting others) were all really good. I'm sure most of them will get a "GOTY Edition". I can't really pick one as the actual Game of the Year though.

Red Dead Redemption had a lot of variety to it's missions and were a blast to play through. The story was also a lot better than that of GTA IV.

Either way, i know Rockstar will keep producing amazing games, like the one i'm highly anticipating now: LA Noire :D (even though it's developed by team Bondi)

Red Dead wins hands down for me. I don't actually own it but I'm convinced from my time playing it at friends' houses.

It'll probably be Black Ops. But for me, no game this year really stands out enough to be a GotY. If I was forced to choose, it would be AC Brotherhood.

IMO, it's definately not black ops especially PS3 version.

I don't see BO getting it.
GT5 is unlikely with all the bumps.
FIFA 11 no way, its little less than FIFA 10 and thats just a european thing
GOW3 i think its unlikely too, the game is short and doesn't really have much last appeal.

So my money in on RDR, i was disappointed with the game to tell the truth, and i blame the trailers and video previews, they hyped the game to the moon and back and honestly, it looked that good, the game itself doesn't taste as good as the trailers...

For the PS3? Resonance of Fate followed by Triniy Universe. Overall: ZHP (PSP)

The best game in the POLL is God of War 3. Amazing game. But that's it. A buggy game like RDR doesn't deserve it. GT 5 is a joke for a 5 year game in development. Others aren't worth mentioning. IMO, there is also Halo Reach, Mass Effect 2, and Starcraft 2.

For the PS3 it will be either God of War 3 or Red Dead Redemption but the overall game of the year will be Mario Galaxy 2.

These 3 has the highest chance of winning. If BO wins . I'm calliong fraud. Not saying Bo is a bad game, but.....

Man, everyone bailed on RDR when they got to Mexico. The first bit sucks, but after that: fast travel.
I'm currently at 98.7% done RDR (mainquest finished long ago).
Just need to do all American hide-out in 24 hours (in game time), and a few more bounties for that gold trophy.
My goty has to be RDR.

Not saying it's the best game ever. But for 2010, it was #1 in my eyes.
