GOW 3 Demo Impressions.

Hey guys, I was playing the Gow 3 demo these days and it seems pretty awesome, what do you guys think? is this game gonna be any less than AAA ?

This Demo can only be described with one word.
"Awesome" Can't wait for the actual release date. Midnight release baby! (if PSN gets fixed...)

They need to fix those framerate issues that occur when you're smashing a ton of guys at once, but other than that it was good. Although I have played that demoso many times I've become sick of it.

I think with GOW 3 Released the ps3 has a really good and valuable line up. Its one of the type of games the Ps3 needs. Its gonna be a very good game.

The demo is freaking awesome, I got mine when I bought a copy of District 9 (Blu-Ray, and it's an awesome movie). Here's an interview with God of War III's combat designer, link.

meh. I was waiting for that since I never like the previous one. But it seems cool for fans of the series. :)

It got me all the more excited. Unfortunately, I was playing it on a friends PS3 so I only got to play it once :-(

although i havent played the demo it looks good by the youtube videos.

the only reason i havent downloaded it already is beacause the size of it is something like 2.6 GB, and all you get out of it is like 10-15 mins

Trust me its worth playing and worth the 10-20 mins :D

It is probably the best demo ever. The ending made me want to keep playing on more than any demo before. I can't wait for the 16th, its my birthday too :)

From the GT video, it looks a lot better and this guy just confirmed it.

"God of War III's visuals handily set a new high watermark on the PlayStation 3, thanks to their insane level of detail, sheer scope, and impressive art direction. One key thing to note is that the game looks a lot better than the recent PlayStation Network demo. He also went on to say "The package is topped off by some jaw-dropping lighting effects, smooth animation, and a steady frame rate that we haven't seen waver--even when things onscreen are going nuts."

Personally, I wasn't worried about the framerate, but it's nice to have a confirmation that it's steady.

Stig (the bald guy) said in an older interview that the final version would be 1080p 60fps or that they would try to get that. Definitely looks 60 fps smooth. But id rather have 30 fps with even more high res textures. Plus they could just use some cheap motion blur to make 30 fps seem 60 fps. yes?

I don't necessarily say they need change it, i just mean Darksiders offer so much more. Let God of war stay a extremly linear button masher for the fans of it while some other devs try mix and make better games for us other that want something more than just button mashing.

i think it will score mostly 9's around but i gamespot will give it an 8.5 b/c its not going to be groundbreaking enough.

demo was quite fun though and is definitely not a game to be missed, especially if you've played the previous 2

I completed the first 2 games just button mashing...used like 2-3 attacks only. Sure you have tons of combos you can learn if you want to but not needed.
