GoW demo review

Yeah the demo is fun! if they continue making games like these, I don't see why people would care for their DS. The demo last for like 15-20 mins. for veteran GoW gamers minus the cut scenes. These games showthe gap between the 2 systems technologically... I mean finally GoW on the PSP. :D

You can't download it yet can you? also havent gotten my UMD yet, signed up back when teh site opened but never got any confirmation, just the "congratulations, the demo will be shipped to your home address."

I got it as a game download! Havn't received my copy yet.

for GOW fans like me, this is just the tip of the iceberg, My only hope is that it would last long enough

But yeah Ready at Dawn brought the GOW experience to PSP flawlessly, the graphics are incredible for a handheld game.

the umd demo is great it's amasing how this game looks on the psp trailers and screne shots just dont do it justice.

controls are easy to get into move with the nub X for jump, O for grab, triangle for heavy attacks, square for light attack, L for block, R for majic, L & R plus the nub for rolling work great you dont even notice youre using one stick.

It was so cool to find this in the mail this morning I've been playing it all day btw it's a nice size demo it last about 15 to 20 mins and the level is broken up into different areas.

Move - analogue nub, Heavy Attack - Triangle, Light Attack - Square, Grab - Circle, Block - L Shoulder button, Magic - r shoulder button plus a face button, Roll - R and L shoulder buttons and move in any direction

So what do you guys think of the demo? I've been playing it nonstop today personallyI think it could be the first PSP game to actually score a perfect 10.I'm playing it w/o the latest firmware so I think that's why it slows down at some points, but the controls are awesome no problems at all & the graphics is what you would expect from a GoW PS2 game. try and be a bit more specific next time. the link for the demo you're providing is to a compressed ISO that only hacked PSP's can run. be wary of the fact that a good majority of people on these forums want to keep their PSP's legit. that being said there hasn't been an announced downloadable demo of GoW as far as i can tell. personally i don't think it's wrong to distribute this demo online since that's what it is....a DEMO...one which most people will be getting for free anyway when it's FINALLY received in the mail :lol: but the point is that it's misleading quite a few people who assumed you were mentioning an official demo in eboot form.

The demo is awesome. The only thing I didnt like a lot personally were the graphics. I know they are capable of doing a lot more with it.

To those of you who recieved the demo in the mail, what is that collectors item thing they sent us. It looks like a pendant for a necklace or something. Someone please let me know what that thing is. It has the emblem on a piece of thread.

Yeah, it won't work on my PSP. I don't know where i'd possibly put it, since it's a WMP file, and .RAR format. Tryed it three different ways won't work. I'm almost positive only ' illegal PSPs ' can use this game... WSGRandomPerson

Ya! I said earlier that my PSP doesn't have the current FW, it's easy enough to spot that I'm using CFW because howam I able to run the GoW demo without the latest FW. BTW for some of you guys who can't get it running on their PSP just be patient as I am also waiting for my official copy of the demo.:D

Nope, a reading of past posts (always useful) shows only 'special' firmware can run it. Annoyingly.

ywah it rocks. completed it 5 times today :D
